After planning a website for several years, I am pleased to announce that it’s posted and ready for browsing. I envisioned this as a place to consolidate my tasting notes, which I write on some of the better wines I taste when time permits, as well as my monthly wine columns and other wine tidbits. It’s still a work in progress, but an archive of my wine columns (“Wines of the Month”) from the last two years and tasting notes from the last three can now be found at www.wineoutpost.com. I hope you find the site to be of interest and welcome any suggestions for its improvement.
I’ll close with a wine recommendation that will help keep the summer spirit alive as we settle into Fall. This Chardonnay has ripe pear fruit with lively acidity, not much oak and comes from sunny Santa Barbara. Best of all, it’s reasonably priced.
