Color: Deep black cherry garnet. (3.0) Bouquet: Very ripe, stewed black cherry, black plum and baked, spiced apple. (3.5) Body: Light heavyweight with outstanding fruit, excellent acidity and subtle, smooth tannins underneath. Well balanced for its level of ripeness. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet step-for-step. Absolutely delicious. (3.5) Finish: Long and tasty with just a touch of bitterness. (3.0)
Overall: A delicious Zin with loads of ripe, stewed black cherry, black plum and spiced apple. It is also balanced and even elegant for its levels of concentration and ripeness. Drinking beautifully right now and should hold for a few years at least. (16)
