Tasting Note

87    2004 Torcalvano Gracciano V.N.D.M.     2/17/08 ($23)

Middleweight with aromatic dried cherry fruit and excellent acidity. Is not built for aging, drink now and in the next 2 years, but is well balanced and tasty. This has some interesting cedar and dry Sherry components, but does not have as much fruit or structure as the 2003. This is Kobrand’s VNDM and is a property of Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari. A pretty good example of VNDM that is just worth the price.
