86   2008  Tilia  Chardonnay (Mendoza, Argentina)  7/3/10 ($8)

Color: Light gold. (3.0) Bouquet: Green apple and pear with good acidity and some vanilla oak. Clean, fresh fruit. (2.5) Body: Silky mouthfeel with lively fruit and acidity. Middleweight. (2.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but even better with tasty, lively apple. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor, but not as distinctive. (2.5)
Overall: Fresh apple and pear fruit, lively acidity, medium body and a silky mouthfeel make this a joy for the price. Serve at about 50 F. Very good all purpose Chardonnay. (13.5)
