Color: Medium deep black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Minerality and Indian spice with flowery, tart cherry fruit. (3.0) Body: Middleweight with excellent acidity, fruit, elegance and structure. (3.0) Flavor: Basil, oregano, spicy flowers and quinine, an exotic combination of cooking spices with a refreshing bitterness, complement smooth tart cherry and plum fruit. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor with anise, spice and subtle tannins lingering. (3.0)
Overall: Interesting and compelling with elegance, complexity, acidity-based structure and subtle tannins all on a middleweight frame. Impressive character for the price. Best vintage I've had of this. (15.0)
