Tasting Note

90+   2013  Siduri  Sonoma County Pinot Noir   10/23/15  ($20)

   14.1% alc
Color: Deep black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Concentrated cola-infused black cherry Pinot fruit with subtle spice. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight to light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Does have a little bite from youthful fierceness. Tangy mouthfeel. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. (3.0) Finish: The best part. Long and spicy with delicious fruit. (3.5)
Overall: Fantastic Pinot Noir for $20, even true at its regular price of $24. The high percentage of Van der Kamp (Sonoma Mtn) fruit in this vintage is easily recognized (recently had their '09 Van der Kamp). Young and delicious now, but will probably improve as it smooths out in the next 3-4 years. (15.5)
