86 NV Rosenblum Zinfandel Vintners Cuvee XXXIII 4/7/12 ($10) (release corresponds to 2009 vintage)

Overall: Ripe black plums, cherries and blackberries with some spice and even a little peppery tannin. Also shows a touch of cheap oak, but I'm being harsh. Solid middleweight. Very good fruit and excellent structure for the price. It easily surpasses the more average, latest release (XXXIV), and is one of the better renditions of this wine that I've had.
