Color: Garnet with some onion skin(clearing). Looks ready.(3.0) Bouquet: Ceiling wax, cassis and cedar. Restrained and elegant.(3.0) Body: Middleweight. Elegant and well balanced, but a little on the light side for this wine. Still fine quality and holding.(2.5) Flavor: Cassis, black pepper and ceiling wax. Very Tasty.(3.0) Finish: Black pepper and cedar w. cassis fruit. Could be richer, longer and more complex.(2.5)
Overall: Just a very good vintage, but well balanced and very elegant and enjoyable. The only disappointing characteristic is less complexity than usual. Drink now.(14.0)
