Has become a bit more imbalanced with a year of bottle age. Candied fruit and a little alcoholic heat stick out more, particularly in the finish, but still has tasty ripe fig and plum fruit. This wine has the body and fruit to improve in the next 2-3 years, but only time will tell if it can overcome its slightly icky, candied fruit and heat, which puts it in an awkward state at present.
