90 2001 Ridge St. Cruz Mtns Chardonnay 5/7/04($30)
A solid middleweight with classy honeysuckle and pear fruit and toasty oak, combined with the mineral flavors characteristic of SCM Chard. Delicious even now, it will improve with 2-5 years of bottle age. Although not over-oaked, its oaky flavors could be less prevalent for my taste. Still an excellent example of SCM Chard.
