Color: Medium black cherry. (2.5) Bouquet: Tart cherry and Zinberry fruit with excellent acidity. Very forward with a little heat. (2.5) Body: Solid middleweight with very good fruit and acidity. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with briar and spice complexity. (3.0) Finish: Parallels bouquet with length, but also a touch of heat. (2.5)
Overall: A very good Zin, particularly for the price, with very good fruit, acidity and spice. It's only flaw is a touch of heat, but still relatively balanced. Tasty middleweight. (13.5)
