91 2000 Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 8/25/04 ($22)
Rich cherry fruit with cassis, pistachio and cedar thrown in. Less tannic than when last tasted (9/13/03), but still needs some time to open further. A little restrained at this point, but still shows impressive breeding, color and balance. Very enjoyable. If you can wait, give it another year.
