Color: Deep purple black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Incense and Indian spices complement sweet/tart black cherry and wild berry fruit with forestal nuances underneath. Interesting and elegant. (3.5) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Mouthfeel is silky/tangy. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but fruit is more charming. (3.5) Finish: Long, but needs time to open more. (3.0)
Overall: Shows an interesting bouquet of incense, black pepper and spicy red pepper complementing wild black raspberry fruit. It also has Northern Rhone style elegance and acidity based structure. Seems to be in an inmediate stage where the fruit is not yet sweet. I suspect it will open in the next 2-4 years. Still enjoyable now with food. (16.0)
