88 2008 Ojai St. Barbara County Pinot Noir 8/24/10 ($32)
Color: Light black cherry. (2.5) Bouquet: Black cherry cola. Pretty and elegant with tasty fruit, but not particularly complex. (3.0) Body: Very good fruit and acidity, but could use more weight. A little weak. (2.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor. (3.0)
Overall: A well proportioned, tasty Pinot that is very enjoyable, but not going anywhere. Could really use more structure and/or more complexity for the price. (14.0)
