Color: Deep red and black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet:Tangy black cherry, cinnamon stick and subtle herbs. Acidity-driven, elegant and aromatic. (3.5) Body: Excellent acidity, minerality and fruit. Tangy mouthfeel that coats somewhat. Light Heavyweight with some tannin underneath. (3.0) Flavor: Excellent, but not quite as giving as the bouquet. (3.0) Finish: Acidity, mineral and some forestal nuances linger along with restrained red and black cherry fruit and some oak. (3.0)
Overall: This serious Pinot Noir has excellent tart black cherry fruit, acidity and mineral with cinnamon stick, spice and subtle forestal nuances. Excellent now, but has the structure to improve over the next 3-5 years. (15.5)
