Color: Deep ruby garnet. (3.5) Bouquet: Concentrated blackberry jam and coffee beans propelled by lively acidity. (3.5) Body: Light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Coats the mouth nicely. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but not quite as expressive. Still rich. (3.0) Finish: Again, simpler than the bouquet, but still long and tasty. (3.0)
Overall: Excellent Rosella's with distinctive blackberry jam fruit and coffee bean nuances. Initially the jammy fruit was a little heavy, but acidity balanced it out with extended air. Should get even better with 2-3 more years bottle age. (16)
