a field blend of mostly old vines Carignan, with small amounts of Grenache, Syrah, Grenache Gris, Macabou, and Terret 13.5% alc
Overall: Light purple ruby color. A bouquet of spring flowers, subtle Indian spices and drawn butter, which carry through to the flavor in the mouth and finish, but shows a slight bitterness at the end. Pretty and precise. Not as concentrated as the 2010, but still interesting and balanced.
