Color: Very deep black raspberry. (3.5) Bouquet: Zippy black cherries and cassis with black pepper. Ripe and lively. (3.0) Body: Light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidiy. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. (3.0) Finish: Some fierce acidity propels all the flavors. Long, but slightlyaustere at present. (3.0)
Overall: Very ripe fruit (a little too ripe for my taste), but has excellent acidity keeping it honest. The ripe black cherries and cassis are delicious, but slight heat adds bitterness and masks the old vines character. Just makes excellent and could improve in the next 3-4 years. Outstanding value! (15.5)
