Color: Medium straw to light gold. (3.0) Bouquet: Green apple and oatmeal with a hint of petrol. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent acidity and minerality and very good fruit. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but not quite as distinctive. (3.0) Finish: Long with the same flavors as found in flavor and bouquet. (3.0)
Overall: An excellent Pinot Grigio, but not as fruity and interesting as the 2010, which was also perfectly balanced. This vintage is more austere with lots of green apple. May improve with a few years bottle age. (15.0)
