Color: Medium black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Tart black cherry fruit, earthy clay and anise. (3.0) Body: Excellent acidity and very good fruit. Middleweight. (2.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. Tangy and tasty. (3.0) Finish: Less intensity and not as interesting. (2.5)
Overall: Excellent pizza and pasta in red sauce wine. Excellent value. A lot of character for the price, but a little light and could be richer. (14.0)
