Color: Dark black garnet. (3.0) Bouquet: Blackberries with game. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with nice fruit concentration. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor, but alcohol takes away some of the charm. (2.5)
Overall: Very good +. Probably at its best now. It has the fruit sweetness of a Zin with the gamey, forestal nuances of a Syrah. Very enjoyable, modern, drink me now style. Should remain this good or better in the next 1-2 years. (14.5)
