Color: Medium yellow. (3.0) Bouquet: Lots of minerals complementing tart apple fruit with beeswax and a little bubble gum. (3.0) Body: Somewhat thin in the mouth, but has very good acidity and fruit. Middleweight. (2.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but not as charming or distinctive. (2.5) Finish: Parallels flavor with some length and beeswax returning. (2.5)
Overall: An enjoyable Alsacian Riesling that is dry with elegance and interesting nuances of minerals and beeswax complementing green apple fruit. A pleasure to drink by itself or with lighter fair. Could improve with a few years in bottle. (13.5)
