Color: Deep black cherry/garnet. (3.0) Bouquet: Spicy black raspberry and black cherry with a little incense. (3.0) Body: Light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Rich and coats the mouth. Just a hint of heat. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. Delicious fruit and black licorice comes on here. Slight bitterness from heat. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor. Fruit lingers. (3.0)
Overall: A ripe style with delicious black raspberry and black cherry fruit, also spice and incense in the mix. Nice acidity and smooth tannins underneath keep it lively. Oak is there, but not as prominent as recent vintages of Petalos. (15.0)
