Color: Deep purple black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Spicy radish and bell pepper complement tart/juicy cherry and cassis fruit with some mineral and gravel. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent acidity, smooth tannins and very good fruit. Smooth/tangy mouthfeel. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but fruit is more tart and less distinctive. (2.5) Finish: Tart and spicy with good length, but restrained. (2.5)
Overall: Starts with a charming, classic bouquet of spicy radish and bell pepper with lively minerality, but the cherry/cassis fruit is restrained in the flavor and finish and needs time to sweeten. (14.0)
