Color: Medium brick garnet with browning and some clearing. (3.0) Bouquet: Elegant, dusty Tuscan terroir with burnt caramel and cedar complementing maraschino cherry fruit. Pretty and flowery. (3.5) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent fruit, acidity and smooth tannins. silky mouthfeel. (3.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet. (3.5) Finish: Doesn't let up, but elegant with just a slight bitterness. (3.0)
Overall: Elegant and delicious. Perfectly balanced and ready to go. Shows pretty, classic dusty Tuscan earth with burnt caramel, roasted nuts and cedar complementing maraschino cherry fruit. Only a solid middleweight, but shows impressive flavor intensity for its weight. A joy to drink now. (16.5)
