Color: Medium gold. (3.0) Bouquet: Poached pear, kiwi and buttered toast. (3.5) Body: Solid middleweight to light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Tangy mouthfeel. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but not as precise. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor with bitter quinine and pear/kiwi fruit lingering. (3.0)
Overall: An excellent RRV Chardonnay, showing the intensity of the vintage in its fruit concentration and aging potential. Drink now and in the next few years. (15.5)
