Color: Light framboise. (2.5) Bouquet: Menthol, roasted mushrooms, cedar and game complementing tart cherry and black raspberry fruit. Lively. (3.0) Body: Middleweight with excellent acidity, very good fruit and some tannin. Well balanced. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but even more lively and expressive. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor with excellent aromatics lingering. (3.0)
Overall: Light in color, but not in flavor. Has a compelling combination of menthol and game complexity with tart cherry and black raspberry fruit. A lively, interesting and very enjoyable village wine. Drink now and in the next couple of years with white meats or rich fish. Outstanding value! (14.5)
