Color: Deep black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Racy black cherry cola fruit complemented by tart minerality and subtle baking spices. (3.5) Body: Light heavyweight with excellent fruit and acidity. Tangy mouthfeel. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with very lively, sweet/tart fruit. (3.5) Finish: Shows youthful, tart acidity, but the fruit is still long and very attractive. (3.0)
Overall: An outstanding Russian River Pinot Noir with intense, racy black cherry cola fruit complemented by subtle baking spices. A joy even now with food, but should impress even more as the acidity smooths and integrates into the fruit in the next 3-5 years. (16.0)
