Color: Deep black cherry with slight browning, but no clearing. (3.0) Bouquet: Black cherry and sweet cola fruit with baking spice complexity. Elegant and intense. (3.5) Body: Solid middleweight plus with outstanding fruit and acidity. Silky, tangy mouthfeel. (3.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, tasty and ready to go. (3.5) Finish: Very silky with tangy black cherry cola fruit and exotic spice going on and on and on. (4.0)
Overall: A great Russian River Pinot Noir with intense black cherry cola fruit and exotic baking spices complementing. The mouthfeel is oh so silky and the finish goes on and on and on like velvet. If ever you can call a wine sexy, this is it. Greatest Russian River Pinot Noir I've ever tasted. (17.5)
