Color: Deep garnet. (3.0) Bouquet: Sweet red cassis and black cherry, subtle dusty earth and toasted nuts. (3.5) Body: Silky mouthfeel with excellent acidity and fruit, very smooth tannins underneath. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with some anise. (3.5) Finish: Parallels flavor, but could be longer and more expressive. (3.0)
Overall: An elegant, cool climate Cabernet with pure cassis and black cherry fruit. More acidity than tannins driven. Tastes like a Margaux, California style. (16)
