   14.9% alc
Color: Deep garnet. (3.0) Bouquet: Ripe, concentrated black raspberry and black licorice complemented by tar, incense, lavender and white pepper. Delicious. (3.5) Body: Heavyweight with outstanding fruit, excellent acidity and smooth tannins. Silky mouthfeel that coats very nicely. (3.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with bittersweet anise and black tar really coming on. (3.5) Finish: Long, but shows some bitterness here. (3.0)
Overall: A big, expressive Russian River Syrah with outstanding fruit concentration, black licorice, tar, incense, lavender and white pepper. Shows elegance and surprisingly easy to drink for its weight. Outstanding now and in the next 3-4 years. (16.5)
