Color: Medium red pear to strawberry. (3.0) Bouquet: Tart, chalky raspberry/strawberry. Restrained and needs more attractive fruit here. (2.0) Body: Solid middleweight with good fruit and some acidity, but a chalky sweetness makes it slightly off-balance. (2.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with the fruit becoming less chalky and picking up a little more attractive strawberry. (2.5) Finish: Parallels flavor with good length. (2.5)
Overall: After a lack luster bouquet, some attractive strawberry/raspberry fruit combined with good weight makes this a solid rosé. But a candied chalkiness sits heavy on the palate. More simple and less lively than the Blanc de Blancs. Serve with food. (12.5)
