60% Nero d'Avola, 40% Frappato      13% alc
Color: Medium black cherry with slight orange around the rim. (3.0) Bouquet: Intense gray clay, dried herbs and zippy minerality complement ripe, somewhat restrained black cherry fruit. (3.5) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent acidity and fruit. Silky, tangy mouthfeel, reminiscent of red Burgundy. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with distinctive nuances prevalent. (3.5) Finish: More tart and a little less distinctive than the flavor. Still excellent. (3.0)
Overall: Sold excellent with elegance and complex flavors of gray clay, dried herbs and zippy minerality complementing ripe, yet restrained black cherry fruit. (16)
