89 2003 Concha Y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Cab 11/4/05 ($13)
Rich cassis fruit and impressive weight (a heavyweight) and structure with mouthcoating tannins. It has a Chilean earthy/herbal edge that gives it some character, which is balanced by fruit and structure. Very impressive Cabernet Sauvignon for the price and should age for 2-3 years at least, but has enough fruit and balance to be drunk now. Not classy or complex, but you can’t have everything for this price.
