Color: Very deep purple garnet. (4.0) Bouquet: Game and rare meat nuances complement concentrated blackberries and some guava with excellent acidity and some heat. (3.0) Body: Excellent fierce acidity and fruit. Heavyweight with healthy tannins. (3.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but richer and more intense. (3.5) Finish: Parallels flavor with outstanding acidity propelled length, but fruit is not quite as attractive. Game and briar linger. (3.0)
Overall: Outstanding concentration of fruit (blackberries)and acidity, with game, briar and guava nuances. Not quite as smooth and concentrated in fruit as the Papa's Block (which is a super-heavyweight), but this should be able to go head to head with the Papa's in time, 5-7 years. (17.0)
