Color: Medium black cherry. (3.0) Bouquet: Black raspberry, black cherry and blackberry in an elegant package with eucalyptus, petrol and cooking spices. (3.5) Body: Middleweight with excellent fruit and acidity. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but not quite as pretty with a touch of bitter citrus. (3.0) Finish: Parallels flavor. (3.0)
Overall: Similar to the outstanding '12 with elegant, Pinot Noir-like fruit, but not quite as smooth with a touch of bitterness. Fruit is also slightly candied. Should smooth and get more giving and interesting with 3-5 years bottle age. (15.5)
