100% Syrah 14.9% alc 260 cases
Color: Dense black garnet. Still looks young. (4.0) Bouquet: Super concentrated blackberries, sweet tar and violets, complemented by white pepper and cooking herbs. (3.5) Body: Heavyweight with big tannins, outstanding fruit and excellent acidity. Viscous mouthfeel that coats big time. (3.5) Flavor: Parallels bouquet, but the structure needs time to calm down. Fierce. (3.0) Finish: Big fruit and mouthpuckering, lip smacking tannins go on and on and on. The excellent acidity propels it and prevents it from being overbearing. (3.5)
Overall: A massive, incredibly well structured Syrah that shouldn't even be looked at until its 10 years old, but the concentrated fruit is delicious, despite the big tannins. . (17.5)
