13% alcColor: Light gold. Nice, but not overly deep. (3.0) Bouquet: Toast and brine complementing bright pear and lime fruit. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent acidity and fruit, combined with briny terroir. (3.0) Flavor: Delicious, intense brine, lime/pear fruit and class. (3.5) Finish: Parallels flavor, but not quite as intense. (3.0)
Overall: This is a terrific, young Burgundy. Cote de Chalonnaise at its best! It has a perfect combination of intense terroir, acidity and fruit. I don’t know if it will get better, but should remain this good for a few years. Impressive. (15.5)
