Color: Medium silver yellow. (3.0) Bouquet: Lemon-tinged green apple with crisp acidity and some minerality. (3.0) Body: Solid middleweight with excellent acidity and fruit. (3.0) Flavor: Parallels bouquet with some elegance. (3.0) Finish: Shows persistent green apple, but somewhat bitter, chalky and less refined than the bouquet and flavor. (2.5)
Overall: A very good Godello, but I've had more interesting ones for less. Still has good concentration and the more austere finish may resolve with time, 2-3 years. In style, it is similar to a Sauvignon from the Loire. (14.5)
